“Thursday, it must be Thursday. I could never get the hang of Thursdays”
        - Arthur Dent, The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams

There is a old situation that is told about people. Generally men, although that is, or could be perceived to be a sexist statement or attitude I find that as men - in general, I’m sure there are exceptions - not good at communicating or asking and that many women are insecure. So with that said and with the statement that the two people happen to be of different sexes and one of them is male, I give you this:

Today I was dragged down for dinner by Karen past 7pm even though I was busy working on some code and when I say busy, I mean frustrated because the code wasn’t working and I didn’t know why.

Of course, after reluctantly giving up, walking downstairs, getting the food I was going to eat and sitting down it hit me why the code didn’t work and exactly what I needed to do to fix it.

Walking away from a problem when you are frustrated and stuck is often the simplest way to solve things. Stop thinking about it and the answer will come to you like magic.
