Shelter In Place: Day 16

Rolls of toilet paper left: 6 (yes, you don't actually need as much as you imagine)

Well, it looks like the count is going to get to at least 50 or close to it before this is over. I say 50 because that is the new "Shelter in place" date. May 3rd. The way things are going I expect it to be extended again, although I'm not sure how much financial impact people can survive without the government bailing everyone and business out to the tune of many trillions of dollars.

I was due to attend a book reading/interview/signing on May 2nd with Mikel Jollett. So far it isn't cancelled, it's moved online. Obviously, it won't be the same as in person, but at least we can attend from the comfort of our living room and we'll still receive a signed copy of his book, nevertheless a little disappointed, it won't be quite the same.

Hopefully this all gets cleared up by August. I have tickets to see his band - Airborne Toxic Event - play in San Francisco with the SF Symphony Orchestra. They're a rock band in the general sense, however, I did see them play with an orchestra once before and it was amazing. There is something about the combination of rock music - or rather any non-orchestral music - combined with an orchestra. It makes it all larger than life was well as giving the music a whole new more powerful arrangement.
