Shelter In Place: Day 12

Rolls of toilet paper left: 6

I made the mistake of going out shopping to get a few basic supplies. Things are getting back to normal with almost everything, except toilet paper/paper towels. The shelves are empty. Nevertheless, even if I run out I have backup plans. I may end up taking lots of extra showers but I'll survive.

I experimented with my Canon DSLR to see if I could turn it into a video-cam source as this seems to be all the rage. Sure my MacBook, iPad, iPhone and Thunderbolt display all have video cams built-in but none of them are the quality of a DSLR. Maybe I'll try it for the Friday Chatty Writers Zoom call and you can all tell me if there is a quality difference as I switch between three different camera sources.

Its been raining off & on. In the ideal world, I think it should rain once-per-week, at night while everyone is asleep. It could be different days for different weeks/months etc. It would keep the air fresh and the plants watered. I think Asimov had a similar concept for the planet of Trantor in the Foundation Series. It's been so long since I read it that I could be wrong about that.
