Two decades of muscle memory means I'm back to typing on my MacBook instead of my iPad.
I gave up on my new Logitech K780 multi-device wireless keyboard. The functionality of being able to use it for my MacBook, my iPad, and my iPhone is great. Unfortunately, it is a sub-compact full-size keyboard - I know oxymoron. It has a numeric keypad - essential as I do my own accounts and I have a lot of them but the Page-up/down Home/End keys are mapped on to the numeric keypad which would have been liveable with although I do use those keys a lot.
The deal-breaker is the arrow keys. They are not full-size and sit under the right shift key just as they do on a macBook. The issue is that they are smaller than I'm used and the space between the up-arrow key and the right shift key is too small.
Finally, if that wasn't enough the key spacing is off so slightly from a Mac keyboard that I couldn't handle it.
Today the keyboard was packaged up and going back to Amazon.
I also ordered a new keyboard. This is a Jelly Full-size slim wireless multi-device keyboard. If you imagine an Apple Extended Keyboard and add multi-device support, this is what you'll get. I'll have to live with the lack of an equals key on the numeric keypad as they made the plus key large. If that is all I have to deal with I'll survive.
Hopefully, this one will be better.
