In.... 3, ... 2... 1

Days sheltering in place: 112.
Days without ants in the kitchen: 2?
Keyboarding: No time.

If a highly trained touch typist typed with two fingers like a newbie, would you be shocked?

Today I watched an old video of Jean-Michel Jarre playing the Oxygene suite live with a couple of other band members. Apart from the sight of all the vintage analogue synths was the fact that he played the main melody of Oxygene Pt II with two fingers, one from each hand. Here is a classically trained musician of amazing talent and he resorts to two fingers.

And he's not the only one. The keyboardist of the Human League was well known for single note, one finger melody lines, and I've witnessed many other professional keyboard players doing the same.

The provides encouragement and comfort that one day I'll manage to pull off a catchy tune, even if I must play it with two fingers.

As for the release, it's 2:30am in the morning, I'm not in bed, this was a break to write my words, I'll keep you posted.

Arrggghhhh, I thought I hit publish, yet it seems I didn't and I woke up to find this window waiting for me.
