The site meetup.com does it work?

If you have never heard of meetup.com, it's a website along with a mobile app of different groups of people which either find groups to meet up with or they can create there own group and then people can decide to join. Once you join a group and they publicize that they have a meetup you can RSVP and then show up.

Several weeks ago I received a notice of a group that the site thought I would be interested in and it was based on producing Youtube content. It was to be held at a coffee shop that was about 30 mins from where I live. Forty people signed up to go, and when I got there, it was the founder of the group, her boyfriend and another older gentlemen along with myself.

I have been to many meetups and have to say that I am not sure if it's the best way to meet like-minded people since out of the group today I was the only one that had published anything to Youtube.com. I was hoping it would have been people that were currently content creators which I could learn something to apply.

One thing I have learned over my years is to be able to try and learn from people what I can. In this instance, I found the back story of this couple interesting they had moved from Texas to get out of a small town to get to an area which had a more significant population and maybe better opportunities for them. I found it exciting to see these twenty-somethings just pack up and move. It reminded me of when I was in my twenty's and thought I could do anything and take on the world.

To wrap up I was in bed sleeping, and it hit me that I had forgotten to do my daily writing on here and got out of bed and wrote this, it's not that great, but I didn't miss a day yet. Have a great week.
