This will be the description of my second day of summer adventure (here's a link to day 1)
We woke up around 9 o'clock and snoozed till 9:30. There had been no ghost sightings during the night which was a bit disappointing, but also fine (I don't really believe in ghost, I've just heard scary as Hell stories from people I know). We got up, packed our things and found the pool I had seen described in the info material (it was very underwhelming) and then we checked out.
I had found a really nice brunch place online, but it was in Aalborg. We decided to go there anyway, a 45 min drive, which turned out to be a great idea! The food was great and despite it being a bit expensive (149DKK per person) it was well worth the money.
I had a good talk with my friend about his job and he shared stuff on how he had gotten his job 3 years ago. He's in charge of hiring people today and it's really great to get a few insights into how that process works.
After brunch, we went to see Pokémon Detective Pikachu at the movies. It was entertaining, but I wouldn't call it a great movie. Pretty unremarkable. All the pokémon were super cute though!
While browsing the shelves in a comic book store, my friend messaged a friend and it turned out his and his fiancé's afternoon was free. We were in the same high school class together and we were all hung out in the same group so they're good friends (and they're getting married in August!!).
We went to the harbor to look at some huge ships. Then we got takeaway from a Thai place and ate it at my friends' place. It was super nice to catch up. They live so far from me and we rarely see each other. I love the friends you don't constantly have to be in contact with to be able to call them a friend. They're that kind of friends and I appreciate them immensely!
After dinner, we headed back to Viborg. It's been two great days and I honestly don't care if this is all the "vacation" I get this summer. I'm ready to send out some job applications!
