5 months ago 🥁 for day 365, 2021 with 466 words.

It's here! The last day of 2021. That means this will be my last post on Write Together. A minimum of 2 x 200 words marking the last day of a 3-year writing streak. I will probably feel weird tomorrow but hopefully, I have some writing energy I can use for other projects. I have even thought about writing in a physical journal again (but probably not every day).

2021 has truly been a year of rejection for me. First with the paper, then all the jobs I have applied for and to round things off, I was rejected by a guy as well. But you know what? I think it's okay. Maybe everything isn't great right now, but eventually it will be. Probably not everything at once but I'll get what I deserve.

My plans for tonight seem pretty perfect to me. when I'm done here, I'll make some dinner. Homemade ravioli and a tomato sauce. I have vanilla ice cream with amarena cherries for dessert. At midnight there's 'kransekage' baked with love by my sister's boyfriend and a glass of Verdi. I'll watch the queen's speech and hang out in Animal Crossing. Just after midnight I might go to the rooftop terrace and watch some fireworks. Tomorrow I'll sleep in. I think it's going to be great.

So Happy New Year from me here in Denmark to whoever reads this! I hope this isn't the last time you'll hear from me.

The last one

She is one (1), she is all. She feels every heartbreak, every sprouting feeling of love. She is there for every single birth and all of the deaths. She is a part of everyone and everyone is her. She is here whether you want it or not.
Some might call her God, others view her as an energy, the thing that is in contact with everything. Even if you do not believe in her, she is still there. She has always been here and will stay for just a bit longer than the universe itself.

She has no intentions and no agenda to which things have to follow. She doesn't control anything but she can be influenced to make tiny changes that can lead to big events. You can call her fate or destiny but you wouldn't be correct. You wouldn't be entirely wrong either.

Whatever you do to someone else, you do to her. Whatever you do for yourself, you do for her. You are never alone, she is here with us. She connects us all and through her, we will continue to exist in different forms of energy. She is Mother Nature and she is everywhere. She is the air you breathe and the carbon in your body. She is everything and everything is her.
