I never tracked passing of the years in any particular way. When I was a kid, I was mostly playing video games. In our house, we had perhaps one or two new years party when I was 7 or 8, but after that, it died. I didn't start going to one of those on my own until university. Right now, I prefer to play some games online with our friends and perhaps drink some wine. We brought a bottle of port wine from Lisbon, so one thing is off the list.
I want to write some post about my reflections on this whole year, but I guess I will do it tomorrow. I never wrote summaries, but I did them mentally by scrolling my social media or browsing through photos. I think for this year since I'm writing already, it may be useful to write my first summary. A lot has happened.
Today we watched "6 Underground" on Netflix with Ryan Reynolds. It's standard Michel Bay movie with a lot of special effects and braggadocio, but we had a great time watching it. I love Ryan after his performance in Deadpool. It was funny to see "Aviation Gin" that he owns also appearing in the movie. I guess every single possibility to promote is a good one.
I also did go to the gym and listen to one of my tech podcasts. They were talking about an interesting topic of going away to different platform and problems regarding that when you are already in one ecosystem (Apple, I'm looking at you). I try to use apps that are multiplatform since I don't want to have any future problems when I change my phone or my computer.
I work for the next two days remotely, and I don't think there will be a point in working for eight hours, so I want to get up early and finish early as well.
